Professor of Geosciences and Atmospheric Sciences and Director of the Institute for the Study of Planet Earth, University of Arizona
Dr. Overpeck specializes in climate dynamics, paleoclimatology, climate and ecosystem interaction, and climate assessment and decision-support. A Guggenheim Fellow, Dr. Overpeck is currently investigating paleoenvironmental perspectives on the future.

Stephen W. Pacala
Petrie Professor of Biology and Director of the Princeton Environmental Institute, Princeton University
Dr. Pacala researched the interplay between community and ecosystem-level processes, and the interactions between the global biosphere and climate. As Director of the Carbon Modeling Consortium, Dr. Pacala leads a group of ecologists, physical and biological oceanographers, and atmospheric scientists who investigate issues ranging from the effects of global vegetation on climate to the large-scale measurement of natural and anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions.
